The following text was taken from the August 28, 2020 New York State Department of Health letter to School Administrators/Principals, and addresses the immunization requirements for all students who are enrolled in New York State schools during the 2020-2021 academic year. These requirements are based upon Public Health Law Section 2164. El siguiente texto fue tomado de la carta del Departamento de Salud del Estado de Nueva York del 28 de agosto de 2020 a los administradores / directores escolares, y aborda los requisitos de inmunización para todos los estudiantes que están inscritos en las escuelas del estado de Nueva York durante el año académico 2020-2021. Kiwanis International teams up with Kiwanis Vision Partner Landscape Structures to give one Kiwanis club $25,000 of playground equipment. The Legacy of Play Contest celebrates the belief that investing in communities through legacy signature projects is important to the success of a Kiwanis club. With its emphasis on inclusive play, Landscape Structures helps Kiwanis achieve our goal of bringing play to all children.

This is an update for interscholastic athletics as of September 10, 2020. Fallsburg will not start interscholastic athletics on or before September 21. A specific start date for Fallsburg has not been determined at this time. Esta es una actualización para el atletismo interescolar a partir del 10 de septiembre de 2020. We are planning a “Welcome Back” for all of Fallsburg Students on Friday, September 11th. The event is sponsored by the Comet Chapter of My Brother’s Keeper. A Prestige Production van will drive to designated areas filled with ice cream and school supplies. Notice is hereby given that the annual Meeting and Budget Vote typically held each year on the third Tuesday in May is hereby postponed until at least June 1, 2020, and the circulation, filing, and collection of petitions for Board of Education positions are postponed pursuant to the New York State Governor’s Executive Order 202.13. Further notice will be given when more information is available.
