The Fallsburg Central School District is excited to announce the opening of food pantries in both district buildings—one at the Junior-Senior High School located near the rear main lobby entrance, and one at Benjamin Cosor Elementary School in the Kindergarten wing. These pantries are designed to provide families with easy access to nutritious food and essential household items.
The pantries are made possible through the generous support of Sullivan 180, which funds the program, and the Hudson Valley Regional Food Bank, which supplies food and household goods. Items available vary each month, but families can expect essentials such as rice, beans, canned goods, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, condiments, cooking oils, peanut butter and jelly, juice, seasonings like salt, pepper, and sazon goya, coffee, shelf-stable milk and yogurt, as well as non-food items including laundry detergent, dish soap, deodorant, and more.
Parents and guardians of Fallsburg students may schedule an appointment to “shop” the pantry or request a pre-packed bag of items. Delivery is also available upon request. To access this resource, please contact Lindsay Severino at [email protected] or visit the link here: Food Pantry Contact Form
These food pantries are an important way our district supports families and ensures that every student has what they need to thrive!
