Dear Parent/Guardian:
This morning a car collided with a school bus at Davos Pointe in Woodridge. Thankfully there were only minor injuries. Emergency service personnel from the police department, fire department and EMS came to the scene of the accident.
Students were seen and evaluated by emergency medical personnel and a few students went home with their parents or to get further evaluated. The majority of students boarded a different bus and continued on to their school buildings. The majority of the students on the bus were junior-senior high school students and a few were elementary students. Nurses in both buildings met with the students once they got to school and evaluated them once more.
It was reported to me that the driver and passenger of the car that hit the bus did not suffer injuries.

Esta mañana, un automóvil chocó contra un autobús escolar en Davos Pointe, en Woodridge. Afortunadamente, solo hubo heridos leves. Personal de emergencias de la policÃa, los bomberos y los servicios de emergencias médicas acudieron al lugar del accidente.
Los estudiantes fueron atendidos y evaluados por personal médico de emergencia, y algunos regresaron a casa con sus padres o para una evaluación más exhaustiva. La mayorÃa abordó otro autobús y continuó su camino hacia sus escuelas. La mayorÃa de los estudiantes en el autobús cursaban la secundaria y el bachillerato, y algunos eran de primaria. Las enfermeras de ambos edificios se reunieron con los estudiantes al llegar a la escuela y los evaluaron nuevamente.
Según me informaron, el conductor y el pasajero del automóvil que chocó contra el autobús no sufrieron lesiones.
