A Single Bite Volunteers Needed

Dear School Community Member,
We are in need of volunteers to help deliver meals for our A Single Bite meal delivery program. We currently have an amazing group of staff volunteers, but our program is expanding as we continue to serve additional FCSD families each week, and more volunteers are needed.
The A Single Bite program provides a free meal to district families in need once per week on Wednesdays (excluding holiday breaks). Meals are delivered to the high school at 3:00 PM, and to the Elementary school around 3:50 PM. Volunteers receive the meals to be delivered as well as a delivery route with a list of names and addresses of families receiving meals. Delivery routes take approximately 30 minutes to complete and are located throughout the local towns including Loch Sheldrake, Hurleyville, Fallsburg/South Fallsburg, etc.
If you are interested in volunteering to deliver meals, please contact Lindsay Severino at [email protected]. Please note that the meal deliveries require the use of your own personal vehicle, and you must be free from all work scheduled obligations in order to volunteer.
You do not have to be available every single Wednesday in order to volunteer! If you are interested in volunteering, you will be added to the volunteer schedule based on your availability. Thank you!

Necesitamos voluntarios para ayudar a entregar comidas para nuestro programa de entrega de comidas A Single Bite. Actualmente contamos con un increÃble grupo de personal voluntario, pero nuestro programa se está expandiendo a medida que continuamos sirviendo a más familias de FCSD cada semana, y se necesitan más voluntarios.
El programa A Single Bite ofrece una comida gratuita a las familias del distrito necesitadas una vez por semana los miércoles (excluidos los dÃas festivos). Las comidas se entregan en la escuela secundaria a las 3:00 p. m. y en la escuela primaria alrededor de las 3:50 p. m. Los voluntarios reciben las comidas que se entregarán, asà como una ruta de entrega con una lista de nombres y direcciones de las familias que reciben las comidas. Las rutas de entrega tardan aproximadamente 30 minutos en completarse y están ubicadas en las ciudades locales, incluidas Loch Sheldrake, Hurleyville, Fallsburg/South Fallsburg, etc.
