Fallsburg Goes Orange for Unity Day: Standing Together Against Bullying

Orange was the color of the day at Fallsburg Central School District as students and staff came together to celebrate Unity Day, a nationwide movement promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Created by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, Unity Day encourages individuals, schools, and communities across the country to wear and share orange as a visible message of hope and support, reinforcing the belief that no child should ever experience bullying.
Throughout the district, students and staff proudly wore orange to show their commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive school environment.
But the message went beyond what everyone was wearing!
Students also had the opportunity to add their signatures to an anti-bullying sign, demonstrating their support for kindness, respect, and standing together against bullying.
Each signature represents a reminder that everyone has a role to play in building a school community where students feel safe, accepted, and valued.
Unity Day serves as an important reminder that bullying is never acceptable and that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone's day.
By coming together in orange and sharing a message of unity, Fallsburg students and staff demonstrated that creating a positive school environment is a responsibility we all share.
Together, we stand united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Because at Fallsburg, everyone belongs
