The Fallsburg Central School District is excited to announce their new slate of tenured staff members for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are proud to announce our middle and high school honor roll and superintendent’s honor roll lists for the third marking period of the 2025-2026 school year. Honor roll students achieved an average of 85-91, and superintendent’s honor roll students earned an average of 92 or higher.

The 21st CCLC survey will help evaluate the impact of after-school programs on students' academic and behavioral outcomes. We kindly ask for your input in order to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our students.

We are aware of a recent class action settlement involving PowerSchool and its Naviance platform. Naviance is a platform used by many of our high school students for college and career planning, and we wanted to provide some information regarding this as families may have received this notice.

The Fallsburg Central School District will be holding a Pre-Kindergarten lottery on Thursday, April 16th at 10 AM at the Board of Education meeting room, located at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School.

Yesterday, the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School proudly recognized 41 students with the Student-On-A-Roll (SOAR) Award. This distinction honors students who have made notable strides in attendance, behavior, and academics in the past marking period. They receive a complimentary lunch and a special gift as a token for their hard work. For this occasion, the students won their very own stainless steel water bottle.

The Sullivan County Department of Social Services are seeking individuals and families who are interested in supporting children in need of a stable home to participate in their "Become a Foster Parent" course.

The Fallsburg Central School District is excited to announce their Class of 2026 Hall of Fame inductees: Joseph Goldstein, James Minarsky, and Albert White. They will be honored on Wednesday, May 27th at 6pm at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School cafeteria.

This morning it was reported that a student at the Junior-Senior High School made an indirect threat against the school via social media. The indirect threat was posted on social media last night and was reported to the school administration by students today. An investigation by the junior-senior high school administration and our School Resource Officer indicated that the indirect threat was not credible. The student who made the indirect threat will face discipline per the Code of Conduct.

I would like to take a moment to thank all who attended and took part in our Family Engagement Day this past Saturday. The event was exceptionally successful as hundreds attended and enjoyed the many offerings that were available from a school sponsored turkey and trimmings lunch, to games, swimming and raffle prizes which included a bicycle. Quisiera agradecer a todos los que asistieron y participaron en nuestra Jornada de Participación Familiar el pasado sábado. El evento fue un rotundo éxito, con cientos de asistentes que disfrutaron de las numerosas actividades ofrecidas, desde un almuerzo con pavo y guarnición patrocinado por la escuela, hasta juegos, natación y rifas con premios que incluían una bicicleta.
