On January 15, 2026, thirty students at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School were recognized with the Student-On-A-Roll Award, also known as the SOAR Award. This award is presented to students who have demonstrated significant progress regarding attendance, behavior, and academics.

Due to the recent nationwide interruption of cell service, we would like to remind parents and staff of the importance of using multiple communication sources to stay informed in the event of an emergency or unexpected situation. Mental health has remained a serious issue for as long as anyone can remember. The rise of social media and smartphone usage has arguably worsened the crisis, especially among young people. Given this reality, a larger question looms: Can there be an effective, proven method to end the stigma of mental health awareness and provide students the treatment they deserve? Fortunately, there is Hope Squad.

I would like to take a moment to thank all who attended and took part in our Family Engagement Day this past Saturday. The event was exceptionally successful as hundreds attended and enjoyed the many offerings that were available from a school sponsored turkey and trimmings lunch, to games, swimming and raffle prizes which included a bicycle. Quisiera agradecer a todos los que asistieron y participaron en nuestra Jornada de Participación Familiar el pasado sábado. El evento fue un rotundo éxito, con cientos de asistentes que disfrutaron de las numerosas actividades ofrecidas, desde un almuerzo con pavo y guarnición patrocinado por la escuela, hasta juegos, natación y rifas con premios que incluían una bicicleta.
