Fallsburg Varsity Football Celebrates 26–0 Victory on Senior Night

It was a memorable night for the Fallsburg Comets as the Varsity Football team celebrated five seniors and secured an impressive 26–0 victory over Catskill-Cairo at Morningside Park in Hurleyville on October 22nd.

Surrounded by friends, family, coaches, and teammates, the seniors took to the field for a special Senior Night celebration recognizing their dedication, accomplishments, and contributions to the Fallsburg football program.

This year's celebration honored five members of the Class of 2027:

• Blake Robert
• Kesare Clarke
• Michael Kehlenbeck
• Guisseppe King
• Xavier Young

The student-athletes were celebrated with flowers and the support of their loved ones, making for a meaningful evening filled with Comet pride.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Dom Scanna, the Comets made the occasion even more memorable, delivering a commanding 26–0 shutout victory over Catskill-Cairo.

While Senior Night serves as an opportunity to reflect on the memories, friendships, and accomplishments these student-athletes have made throughout their high school careers, the season is far from over!

The Comets are heading into the playoffs, with their first-round matchup scheduled for Saturday, November 7th, at 1 p.m. The game location will be announced once confirmed.

Fallsburg Central School District extends its appreciation to Coach Scanna, the coaching staff, teammates, friends, and families who have supported these seniors throughout their football journeys.

To Blake, Kesare, Michael, Guisseppe, and Xavier: Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to representing Fallsburg with pride. Your senior season isn't over yet, so let's finish strong!

Congratulations, seniors, and best of luck to our Comets in the playoffs!
