Sign Up for Strengthening Families Program Today!
Just a friendly reminder that Cornell Cooperative Extension will be bringing the Strengthening Families Workshop to Fallsburg once again this fall!
Free dinner will be provided for all attendees and free childcare will be provided for all additional children and siblings who are not participating in the program. Cornell Cooperative Extension can also offer free transportation to and from the workshops.
- Prevents adolescent substance abuse and other behavioral problems
- Strengthens parent and child communication skills
- Increases academic success in youth
The program consists of 7 workshops held every Wednesday at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School from 4:30 to 6:30PM. It is intended for students ages 10-14 and their parents. The workshop will also be bilingual; held in both English and Spanish.
