Brand Guide

The purpose of the Fallsburg Central School District brand guide is to outline the essential components and establish proper use of the district’s logos. This guide will cover our logo’s color palette, type font, and designated usage.


Brands are a reflection of the district’s identity, mission, and values. They foster a strong sense of community and pride. It is important for the Fallsburg school community and beyond to abide by the brand’s intended purposes. The following acts are strictly prohibited: 1) Producing new variations of the logos without the approval of the district. 2) Modifying the current logos to a new color, font, or size. 3) Stretching, cropping, or photoshopping certain aspects of the logo.

Typeface: A specific style set of letters, numbers, and symbols. It is not to be confused with fonts, which can be defined as versions of a typeface. 

Pantone: An ink color matching system used primarily for printing. Every shade of color has a designated set of numbers.
HEX Number (#): Color code system used for graphic design, 3D imaging, etc. 

CMYK: Stands for cyan, magenta, yellow, and key. It is a color model used to reduce (or subtract) reflective light from a white background. Ideally used for flyers and brochures. 

RGB: Stands for red, green and blue. It is a color model that uses a combination of red, green and blue colors to create new sets of colors.
