FCSD Caravan Through Fallsburg June 4, 2022
For the past few years, Fallsburg Central School District has organized a “Caravan for the Community” to celebrate the end of another successful school year. A Rolling V Bus filled with school staff and students and decorated by student artwork and dozens of cars with more staff and students as passengers will parade through the different hamlets of Fallsburg. The schedule of the route is attached to this press
release. If you have questions about the route, please call Rolling V at 434-0511 between Wednesday, June 1 and Friday, June 3 from 9 AM to 12 Noon.
The morning begins at Benjamin Cosor Elementary School (BCES) at 9:00 AM when cars will begin lining up for the caravan. At 10:00 sharp, the parade begins and
will travel many school bus stops beginning in Woodridge, the on to Glen Wild, Woodridge, Mountaindale, Woodridge, Woodbourne, Loch Sheldrake, Hurleyville, South
Fallsburg and end at BCES by 12:20 PM.
Community members are encouraged to check the time when the line of cars will be entering their neighborhood. It is a wonderful sight to see families waving, hoisting
signs of appreciation, greeting each vehicle with shouts of joy all along the route.
Children of all ages love parades. The school brings children and teachers together to learn and grow together. Town residents support the school system.
Families come to the school buildings to celebrate the children’s activities and achievements.
This caravan is a joyous day of mutual appreciation to come to the local neighborhoods and thank the entire Fallsburg community. Whether you are part of the caravan or part of the welcoming neighbors, enjoy the parade on June 4. As the flier says, “Come out and show your Fallsburg Family Pride!”
