Dear Parent/Guardian:
Earlier today, Monday, November 24, 2025, a Junior-senior high school student voiced a threat to two students. The threat involved two carving tools that the student took, without permission, from an art room. The tools were recovered from the student by the school administration. The threat was deemed to be non-credible by the Fallsburg Police Department (via our School Resource Officer) and the school district. The school district will be following up with the student and family involved to address this situation in accordance with our Code of Conduct. Our schools will continue running as normal.
The health, safety and welfare of our students continues to be our top priority and we fully investigate threats of any nature regardless of what the intent is. We realize that sometimes threats are made out of anger, frustration, as a joke or for other reasons, but we take them all seriously.

Hoy, lunes 24 de noviembre de 2025, un estudiante de secundaria amenazó a dos estudiantes. La amenaza involucraba dos herramientas de tallado que el estudiante tomó sin permiso de un salón de arte. La administración de la escuela recuperó las herramientas del estudiante. El Departamento de PolicÃa de Fallsburg (a través de nuestro Oficial de Recursos Escolares) y el distrito escolar consideraron que la amenaza no era creÃble. El distrito escolar se pondrá en contacto con el estudiante y la familia involucrados para abordar esta situación de acuerdo con nuestro Código de Conducta. Nuestras escuelas continuarán funcionando con normalidad.
La salud, la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros estudiantes siguen siendo nuestra principal prioridad e investigamos a fondo cualquier amenaza, independientemente de su intención. Sabemos que a veces las amenazas se hacen por enojo, frustración, como broma o por otras razones, pero las tomamos todas en serio.
