History has been made at Fallsburg! Five indoor track & field players recently broke all-time school records in their respective events and races! Congratulations to the indoor track team on their remarkable accomplishment!

We would like to thank all of you for coming to our movie night this past Tuesday! A whopping 200 people were in attendance! It really means the world to see the Fallsburg community come together for a special evening of fun. Stay tuned for our next movie night, you don't want to miss it!

In mid-January, New York State announced the launch of the Enhanced Energy Affordability Program (EEAP), an expansion of the existing Energy Affordability Program (EAP), which provides discounts on electricity and gas costs to eligible residents.

Dear School Community: WVOS radio made a radio announcement this morning about today's building project vote that was not accurate. They reported that our proposed project would have a tax increase, which is not true. Our building project will have a 0% tax increase. I spoke to WVOS this morning and they apologized for the error and said they would correct it.

This afternoon at the Junior-Senior High School a general threat against the school was reported to the school administration by a student. The threat was made earlier in the week but was first reported today. An investigation by the junior-senior high school administration and our School Resource Officer indicated that the threat was not credible. The student who made the threat will face discipline per the Code of Conduct.

The Fallsburg Central School District is proud to announce their middle and high school honor roll and superintendent’s honor roll lists for the second marking period of the 2025-2026 school year. Honor roll students achieved an average of 85-91, and superintendent’s honor roll students earned an average of 92 or higher.

On January 15, 2026, thirty students at the Fallsburg Junior-Senior High School were recognized with the Student-On-A-Roll Award, also known as the SOAR Award. This award is presented to students who have demonstrated significant progress regarding attendance, behavior, and academics.

I would like to take a moment to thank all who attended and took part in our Family Engagement Day this past Saturday. The event was exceptionally successful as hundreds attended and enjoyed the many offerings that were available from a school sponsored turkey and trimmings lunch, to games, swimming and raffle prizes which included a bicycle. Quisiera agradecer a todos los que asistieron y participaron en nuestra Jornada de Participación Familiar el pasado sábado. El evento fue un rotundo éxito, con cientos de asistentes que disfrutaron de las numerosas actividades ofrecidas, desde un almuerzo con pavo y guarnición patrocinado por la escuela, hasta juegos, natación y rifas con premios que incluían una bicicleta.
